Device rules for Linux recognition

These device rule are expansive for all android devices, less secure than previous revisions due to the lack of user name information

The device rules are necessary for devices to access the computer and allow ADB to communicate with the device.

These rules are always a headache, some people have issues with them. My advice if the do not work is to use google to find specific rules for your device. These rules are very generic and are meant to cover all phone manufacturers only not specific phone models.

sudo gedit /etc/udev/rules.d/51-android.rules

in the text box that opens past int he following lines

SUBSYSTEM=="usb", SYSFS{idVendor}=="0502", MODE="0666"
